At Café Don Rafael we firmly believe in education as a tool to transform our country. The reality is that few, young people and children, have access to it. The responsibility to create these opportunities is not only from the government, but also from citizens. We want to do our bit to make this reality change.

When you buy our products, you are helping a child to go to school. We currently channel our contributions through Ahava Ministries and Love Guatemala, who are ministries that are responsible for following up on sponsored children and youth.

Meet Cindy. She is on her way to graduating. She studies very hard to earn good grades. Cindy wants to be an accountant when she grows up. She sets the example for the younger children in Ahava by working hard to achieve her goals. Her favorite color is black, she loves dogs and salad and the number 28.

Meet Seidy, she is the first girl we sponsored at Ahava Ministries. Seidy is a very intelligent and determined young woman. Her favorite class is Science and she hopes to be a lawyer one day. Seidy has a tight knit family. Her younger brother is special needs and she helps her parents care for him. She truly has a beautiful spirit and we look forward to what she does with her life.
